Vehicle Eligibility.
Trucks
Service for most pickup trucks normally requires medium-duty, specialized equipment that is not always available throughout CAA SCO and elsewhere in North America.
CAA SCO will cover these vehicles only if the vehicle is not loaded with equipment/tools.
- Service Calls per year – 4 for Basic or Plus Membership, 5 for Premier Membership

Eligible Vehicles
Trucks
Eligible trucks range from Ford F150-F350s and GM/Dodge 1500-3500 and all other similar makes and models of pickups. Ford F450s and F550s and GM/Dodge 4500-5500 and all other similar makes and models of pickups are not covered under any CAA Membership.
Pickups with storage box
Pickup trucks with a storage box not loaded with equipment/tools.
Dual-rear-wheel pickups
Unloaded dual-rear-wheel pickup trucks are eligible for all types of Roadside Assistance service, except flat tire service.
Pickups with snow-removal equipment
CAA SCO will cover these vehicles if the snowplow/scoop/salter equipment is removed by the Member.
Ineligible Vehicles
The types of vehicles below normally require heavy-duty, specialized equipment that is not always available throughout the CAA SCO service area and elsewhere in North America. Vehicles used for commercial purposes are not eligible for service.
Large pickups
Ford F450/F550, Dodge 4500/5500 and/or all other similar makes and models of pickups.
Dual-rear-wheel pickups (Bed loaded with equipment and tools)
Roadside Assistance is not available for this vehicle, because there is a high risk of damage and or because specialized equipment may be required to tow it.
Pickups with storage box/cube van
These refer to pickup trucks with a storage box. If the vehicle has a raised storage box, it is not eligible for Roadside Assistance
