Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I enjoy watching the smiles and excitement on my clients’ faces when they are planning a trip of a lifetime. And who doesn't love a vacation!? It is so rewarding to create those experiences for my clients! I love my job and it shows in the way I plan people’s holidays.

My top travel picks.

My goal is to fulfill the image you have in your head of the perfect vacation and to do what I can to make your trip a once in a lifetime celebration. I am happy to book your trip to any destination but I do have areas that I love to focus on: Caribbean, Mexico, Europe and North America.

Danube Canal, Vienna.

Austria

A river cruise is a wonderful way to relax, watch the scenery drift by at a leisurely pace and explore the European countryside. Enjoy art, history, culture, stunning landscapes, exquisite food and wine. There are so many options and so many ways to cruise! Tour the Christmas Markets in winter (nobody does Christmas Markets like the Europeans) and wine country in summer. Visit castles and landmarks. Cruise the Danube, the Rhine, the Rhone or the Douro. Visit two countries or ten. River cruises let you have it all, your way.

Insider tip: River cruises can be pricey, particular during peak season. Consider booking during spring or fall if you’re looking for less expensive options.

Jasper National Park.

Canada

This privately-owned rail company that operates on three routes in Western Canada is the experience of a lifetime. This scenic journey takes you through forested lands, alongside river valleys and over historic bridges that you simply cannot see otherwise. This is such a fabulous experience, with amazing food, and over-the-top professional service and hospitality. The Rocky Mountaineer is world renowned as one of the best travel and rail experiences anywhere. Truly incredible.

Insider tip: Dress in layers that you can pile on and take off at will, so you’ll always be comfortable as you travel through, and stop to explore, different places.

Turks and Caicos Islands.

Caribbean

For the Caribbean-bound traveller, it’s hard to know which island to visit. Turks and Caicos, for example, is best suited to the traveller in search of refined relaxation, while the party people will love the casinos and bars of the Dominican Republic. Jamaica, meanwhile, is a great spot for families, with plenty of kid-friendly, reasonably priced resorts. I can take the pain out of choosing what's right for you by giving you the low-down on the islands, explaining what's best about each one and helping you maximize beach time over airport time.

Insider tip: Turks and Caicos is a paradise for divers and snorkellers, with the world’s third largest barrier reef.
