Why do I love being a Travel Consultant?

I love meeting new people and sharing our experiences of the world with each other. It gives me great pleasure to customize someone’s vacation and to share my knowledge with CAA Members. Every trip is as special as the people we plan them for.

Wailua Falls.

Kauai, Hawaii

I got engaged in Hawaii, so it has a special place in my heart. It’s a very romantic place. Oahu, Maui and The Big Island are wonderful. My favorite Hawaii destination is Kaua’i, the Garden Isle. It’s where Jurassic Park was filmed, a tropical paradise with lush vegetation, deep canyons, beautiful beaches, sunsets and towering waterfalls. Avid hikers should try the Kalalau Trail to Hanakapi’ai beach. Visit Waimea Canyon (the Grand Canyon of the Pacific), Na Pali Coast and Hanalei Bay.

Insider tip: Visit Wailua Falls. You do not have to do a lot of hiking to reach this spectacular beauty. Go mid-morning and take amazing pictures from the top.

Rome, Italy

Once you have had a taste of Europe, there is no turning back. Italy is steeped in history, culture, arts and music. And let’s not forget that the authentic food to die for! In Rome, visit the Colosseum, Amphitheatre, Vatican, Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.

Insider tip: Visit during spring or autumn. Summer gets too hot. Be sure to take some time unscheduled time just to walk around the city and take in the architecture and to just people watch.

Athens, Greece

Visiting the Greek Capital of Athens is an incredible experience. The food is wonderful and the people are warm and welcoming. The one-time heart of the ancient Greek Empire is brimming with landmarks and stunning architecture. These include the Acropolis, a hilltop citadel at the top of which you’ll find the Parthenon temple, the Erechtheum and the Temple of Athena. Also visit the Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Poseidon and the National Gardens, a beautiful park in the middle of the city.

Insider tip: Athenians love to enjoy cinema under the stars. Look for one of these events around the city.
