Cayman Islands.

The Cayman Islands are a real-life tropical paradise. Calm, clear waters and long white, sandy beaches make them an ideal spot for people who love to swim, snorkel and soak up the sun. Seven-Mile Beach on Grand Cayman is widely regarded as one the most beautiful beaches in all of the Caribbean.

Insider tip: Be mindful of the underwater etiquette wherever you snorkel. Avoid touching fish or coral (some of which are toxic and can cut your skin resulting in an infection). Avoid feeding the fish or turtles, which can disrupt their natural ecosystem.

Ketchikan.

Alaska, United States

Ketchikan is an Alaskan frontier town facing the Inside Passage, a popular stop for cruises along the southeastern coast. It's known for its lively salmon, picturesque scenery, and rich Alaska Native culture. Numerous Native American totem poles are scattered about the town.

Insider tip: Be sure to visit Creek Street in Ketchikan. This unique wooden street is lined with quaint shops, and if you're there at the right time of the year, you can actually see the salmon swimming in the creek.

Juneau.

Alaska, United States

Alaska's capital city, Juneau is located in one of the largest wilderness areas in all of the United States. It is an ideal spot for viewing wildlife, taking the fishing trip of a lifetime or enjoying the city’s unique shops and local cuisine.

Insider tip: Try some of the freshest (and best) seafood you'll ever taste. Juneau is famous for its freshly caught salmon, halibut and Alaskan crab.
