Accident plan
The Accident plan helps you pay for the cost of eligible veterinary care if your pet gets hurt or injured because of an accident. Common accidents include injury from falling, cutting a paw or being hit by a car.
- $5,000 coverage per year
- Emergency vet care/treatment for injuries
- Consultations, exams, hospitalization, drugs, surgery, anesthesia, specialist referrals
- Helps you focus on care for your pet, rather than worrying about treatment costs
Additional benefits: $1,000 per incident
- Kennel boarding fees if you're hospitalized and can't care for your pet
- Trip cancellation coverage if your pet requires emergency, life-saving treatment due to an accident
- Lost pet advertising and reward
- Cremation/burial costs
Accident and Illness plan
The Accident and Illness plan helps you pay for eligible veterinary care if your pet becomes injured, sick or develops a chronic condition. This plan offers broader coverage than an Accident plan.
- $7,500 coverage per year or $15,000 coverage per year
- Illness/injuries, hereditary conditions, alternative therapies, diagnosis, behavioural therapies, hospitalization, prescriptions, surgery
- Helps you focus on care for your pet, rather than worrying about treatment costs
- Allows you to choose a deductible and reimbursement amount that works best for you and your pet's needs
